A delegation from Kyrgyzstan Teacher Training University visit TMU


A delegation consisting of Dr. Mirza Khan Alimbayov, the deputy for International Relations and Aida Altaiva, the manager of Scientific Collaboration Department of the said university along with a representative from Kyrgyzstan Embassy in Tehran visited TMU on Sunday the 5th of Nov. and held talks with Dr. Hamid Saeedi, the deputy chancellor for International Scientific Collaboration Department.

At the beginning of this meeting, Dr. Saeedi welcomed the visitors and gave a brief introduction of the university, its history and achievements.

The Kyrgyz counterpart then talked about the Southern Kyrgyz TT University which has been founded in 1992 and asked his Iranian counterpart to assist the university in holding Ph. D. courses in psychology and economics by providing the service of its full-time professors as supervisor / readers for Ph.D. students.

In this meeting, the Kyrgyz delegate also discussed the possibility of students exchange between the two universities. The Kyrgyz delegate expressed hope that in future TMU can act as a good model for Kyrgyz universities because they wish to transfer BA and BS levels to colleges and focus just on Master and doctorate levels.

The Kyrgyz academia visit to TMU was coordinated by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran in an attempt to pave the way for conducting joint international projects, facilitating students exchange, fostering language learning and research, holding joint conferences and discussing other relevant issues.
